After paparazzi video and photos went viral in November showing singer and actor Justin Timberlake during a night out with one of his co-stars from an upcoming movie, the performer has taken to social media to respond.
As early reports reveal, Timberlake is currently filming a moving called Palmer with actress Alisha Wainwright. The pair were out one night during a break from shooting and the videos of them together have been criticized as being inappropriate.

Timberlake is married to actress Jessica Biel. The couple has been husband and wife since 2012 and they have a son together, 4-year-old Silas.
The videos of Timberlake and Wainwright show the co-stars getting handsy on the balcony of a bar. In one clip, Wainwright is seen with her hand on his thigh and at one point holding hands with one another. And another clip shows Timberlake putting his arm around Wainwright’s waist.
Timberlake also appeared to be intoxicated as the clip was being recorded.
A source told E! News at the time, “They were out with all the cast, crew, makeup artists, and everyone was just hanging out in a social setting. They are just working together. No validity to any other rumor other than that they are filming together.”
Timberlake’s Apology
Now Timberlake is speaking out on his behavior that night in an Instagram post shared on December 5. He wrote:
Timberlake’s post reads:
“I stay away from gossip as much as I can, but for my family, I feel it is important to address recent rumors that are hurting the people I love.
A few weeks ago, I displayed a strong lapse in judgment — but let me be clear — nothing happened between me and my costar. I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior. I should have known better. This is not the example I want to set for my son. I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be. This was not that. I am incredibly proud to be working on Palmer. Looking forward to continuing to make this movie and excited for people to see it.”

Although Biel has yet to give a statement of her own, another source told E! News that “they are downplaying everything and trying to laugh it off as nothing. But it was definitely inappropriate and something that would make any wife uncomfortable. He had too much to drink and got carried away. Their marriage will survive.”
Wainwright has also avoided speaking out about the videos of her and Timberlake.
