20 Years Ago She Put a Bead Up Her Nose, She Just Found It Again

When Hannah Hamilton was 3 years old she acted like a typical toddler and put a bead she found up her nose. She knew pretty immediately that she was never seeing that bead again.

Call it fear of getting in trouble or fear of going to the doctor, Hamilton may not even know, but she never told anyone about the bead that was stuck in her nostril. And eventually, she forgot about it.

Twenty years later, an illness jogged her memory. As Hamilton continued to explain in her TikTok she had a sinus infection which produced a “massive booger I could not get out. It was super painful, and it was bothering me.”

So that’s when she decided to investigate. “So, I got one of those earwax cleaning cameras. I know you’re not supposed to use them anywhere else, but I used it in my nose to see if I could see this and it was just big,” Hamilton explained.

“And I couldn’t get it out,” she continued. “Finally, it dislodged and I guess it went to the back of my nose or something, but it was gone the next day and I was like, ‘Great, GONE!’ Well, it just came back and it was really painful and I was trying to get it out. I was blowing my nose really aggressively, really hard — I couldn’t get it out. I got the little camera out again and I looked and there was a little bit of blue on it. And that brought back that memory of that bead from when I was like 3 years old.”

Although very painful, the blue mass finally dislodged and to her surprise, it was the blue bead that got stuck in her nose when she was just 3 years old. Now at 23, Hamilton no longer has a bead living in her nose.

“A blue bead that has been in my nose for 20 years just came out of my nose — 20 years I’ve been living with a bead inside my nose and I had no idea,” Hamilton said, adding that the bead in her nostril was one of those childhood memories that she couldn’t decipher if it was real or maybe something she just saw in a movie.

The moral of the story is, Kids, if you happen to accidentally stick something up your nose, tell something, don’t keep it a secret! Could you imagine her surprise, has anything like this ever happened to you?
