Jenelle Evans Fired From ‘Teen Mom 2’ After Her Husband Allegedly Shot and Killed Dog

Jenelle Evans was surprised to learn she’d been fired from the show that made her famous, Teen Mom 2. This news comes after an incident in which her husband, David Eason, allegedly shot and killed the family dog, Nugget.

I was a little bit shocked but I saw it coming,” Jenelle told Us Weekly in an exclusive interview. “It’s shocking still but I respect their decision and have nothing but love for MTV.”

MTV told Us Weekly that they ended their relationship with David in February of 2018 and that the last time they filmed Jenelle was in early April of this year. They say they have no plans to include storylines about either David or Jenelle in upcoming seasons.

Jenelle also told Us Weekly that she and David are working on their marriage, which comes as a bit of a surprise given her insinuation last week that she was considering divorce. But apparently the couple is considering going on Marriage Boot Camp to work out their issues. You can take the girl out of reality TV, but… Well, no, actually you can’t, we guess.

David seemingly admitted to shooting the dog in an Instagram post last week. (It has since been deleted.) He posted a video depicting what appeared to be the dog nipping their two-year-old, Ensley, in the face.

“I don’t give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face,” David’s caption read. “Whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I don’t put up with that sh** at all. I’m all about protecting my family, it is my life’s mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me.”

Stay tuned for more, because something tells us this saga is ongoing…
