Reese Witherspoon Walks ‘Big Little Lies’ Premiere Red Carpet with Lookalike Daughter Ava Phillippe

Big Little Lies, the smash HBO hit, is back for a second season on June 9. The stars of the show were out in full force last Wednesday night to celebrate the premiere, held at Jazz at Lincoln Center in NYC. Stars Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Meryl Streep, Laura Dern, Zoë Kravitz, and Shailene Woodley were in attendance, as was Witherspoon’s daughter, Ava, who looks exactly like her mom!

In addition to the stars of the show, Witherspoon’s lookalike daughter, Ava Phillipe, 19, showed up to support her mom, walking the blue carpet by her side. Ava posted a sweet photo of the pair on Instagram, saying, “So especially proud of my mama and her passion for this story and her work.”

Witherspoon, in addition to co-star Kidman, are both executive producers of the Emmy Award-winning show, based on Liane Moriarty’s best-selling book.

The second season of the show picks up after last season’s finale when Perry (played by Alexander Skarsgård), the abusive husband of Kidman’s Celeste, was killed under suspicious circumstances. The original female cast members (Witherspoon, Dern, Woodley, Kravitz and Kidman) are all back, along with Meryl Streep, who will play Kidman’s grieving mother-in-law.

Be sure to tune in to the new season of Big Little Lies for more hilarious, sarcastic and joyful moments of female friendship. And return to see if Reese Witherspoon and daughter Ava make any more joint appearances!
