Advice for the OP was really mixed on this one! Many commenters said it’s not worth it because you’ll likely get hot and sweaty during delivery and it’s unlikely your makeup will remain … fresh. One commenter said: “I had makeup on because I was out to dinner when I went into labor, and needless to say after 4 hours of laboring at the hospital I looked crazy!”

Others focused on the fact that no one expects a brand new mom to deliver a baby and look amazing: “I will never understand wanting to wear makeup while pushing a human out. ????‍♀️????‍♀️????‍♀️Literally NO ONE expects you to look runway ready after that.”

Some commenters felt differently though and said they had no issue with their makeup staying put and it made them feel more confident to have it on. “I wore makeup with both my daughters’ births and will with my son’s as well,” said one commenter. “Everyone said ‘You won’t care blah, blah.’ But you should do what makes you comfortable not what everyone else thinks is ‘normal’. You’re the one in labor!”

Ultimately OP: if wearing makeup makes you feel good, you should do it. But no one will care if you don’t!
