This Video of Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade’s Daughter Kaavia James Is Super-Relatable for All Food-Lovers

Kids often do things that adults only wish they could do in public: Napping, crying out of frustration, and bluntly telling people what you like/don’t like are just some of the things that aren’t generally encouraged after you reach a certain age.

Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade’s nine-month-old daughter, Kaavia James, recently showed us another baby habit that we wish were socially acceptable for adults.

Union posted a video of her adorable daughter on Instagram being held by Wade while he ate his dinner. In the clip, every time he takes a bite, Kaavia very clearly expresses her dissatisfaction with not being fed. She grunts and gives some very advanced side-eye. Wade responds, “Well, ma’am, this is my food.” Kaavia does successfully get a bite in the end, perhaps proving that we should try this method next time we have food order FOMO.

Recently, Union also shared a video of Kaavia mastering her swim lessons. The teacher, Ms. Monica, says “Go!” and Kaavia bravely jumps off the step and swims to the teacher. At only nine-months-old, Kaavia has some impressive swim skills. Watch below:

Earlier this summer, Kaavia also made her first red-carpet appearance at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Sports Awards, which she attended with Union and Wade by her side.

Union and Wade have even set up an Instagram account just for photos and videos of their too-cute-for-words daughter. You can tell she’s already a little star in the making, which is no surprise given her lineage. Follow @kaaviajames for a regular dose of heartwarming cuteness.
