As Bachelor in Paradise continues to eliminate contestants we’re getting closer to knowing who the next Bachelor will be. Many are betting on Derek Peth especially after a recent episode when Demi left him for Kristian Haggerty, a woman she dated back home. Looks as if Kristian is here to stay so Derek’s chances with Demi are likely done.
Derek handled the break up like a champ and with class and compassions. Though obviously heartbroken, Derek rooted for Demi’s happiness no matter who she chose to fall for.

What a good guy! He respected Demi and also supported her goals of figuring out who she is and what she really wants. He also encourages others to support her too.
Seeing such a catch be so sweet despite the fact that he’s heartbroken? That’s rare. Not only is he good looking, but he’s also a really genuine guy. Who wouldn’t want to see him find love and watch while he falls for someone? After all, he deserves it!
And now, people are convinced he’d be a great Bachelor since then it’s clear many are into Derek, which makes him prime pickings for next season’s Bachelor. Looks like ABC thinks so too because they appear to be grooming him for the role. Honestly most would be just fine with that idea.
Through BIP he’s been a great lead. He’s handsome, authentic and charismatic plus the fan base loves him! We’re pretty sure ABC will have women lined up who want to date him.

We could definitely see someone like Derek Peth being the next dude to hand out roses … even though we’re still also rooting for Mike, because honestly, how could we not?
And usually, that comes at the end of BIP, so hopefully, we don’t have long to wait.
In the meantime, we’re going to keep obsessing over Derek, and honestly, whoever ends up the next Bachelor will be great. There are so many awesome guys to choose from!
