Model, host, and mom of two Chrissy Teigen isn’t a regular mom, she’s a cool mom with multiple tattoos. If you need proof, just take a look at the mom’s tattoo she got in honor of her family.
On October 4, Teigen took to Instagram to reveal that she got a tattoo to honor her children, her husband, and her parents. And while the body art may seem cryptic at first, her fans were able to crack the code fairly quickly.

Teigen shared a photo of herself on Instagram getting inked last week. And in a second photo, the mom revealed that the tattoo consists of a series of numbers going down her left forearm.
In the comments section, Teigen’s husband, singer John Legend, called his wife’s new tattoo “the ultimate mnemonic device!”
Now, as PopSugar reports, the meaning behind the numbers is actually really sweet and pays homage to her family.
Each cluster of numbers is representative of their birthdays:
Her father, Ron Teigen Sr., was born on 8/5/39.
Her mother, Vilailuck Teigen, was born on 12/12/61.

Her husband, John Legend, was born on 12/18/78.
Her daughter, Luna Stephens, was born on 4/14/16.
And her son, Miles Stephens, was born on 5/16/18.
However, while many of her fans thought the tattoo was a thoughtful gesture, others took issue with the placement of the tattoo.
As one commenter wrote, “I know this must be something personal to you, but numbers on the inside of your arm mean something very different.”
While another added, “Chrissy, I know you didn’t mean to evoke this with your tattoo, but I encourage you to look up the history of holocaust tattoos – a series of numbers forcibly given to people held in concentration camps to identify them. This has potential to be very offensive, even if that was not your intention.”
As far as her fans know, this is Teigen’s third tattoo. The mom got inked earlier this year with Legend.
As the 33-year-old revealed in April, she and Legend both got slight variations of the same tattoo:
Teigen’s reads, “John, Luna, Miles,” while Legend’s reads, “Chrissy, Luna, Miles.”
The “cool” mom also got a small heart on the tip of one of her fingers.
Teigen hasn’t talked about her newest tattoo since sharing it with the world on Instagram. It’s unclear if the mom plans on getting any others.
