Kim Kardashian Says Kids Are ‘Exhausting’ and ‘Grueling’ But She Wouldn’t Give Up Motherhood For Anything

The Kardashian clan, sans model Kendall Jenner, loves being parents to their children. And that also includes the family’s frontwoman, mother Kim Kardashian West.

As a mom of four, the 38-year-old is all about her children, but in her E! True Hollywood Story, she admits that even though she loves them immensely, they can also be “exhausting.”

In fact, Kim even went as far as to describe being a mom to 6-year-old North West, 3-year-old Saint West, 1-year-old Chicago West, and 5-month-old Psalm West, on top of being a social media guru, businesswoman, beauty mogul, and law student as “grueling.” Can anyone really blame her with a schedule like that?

Yet, despite how hard it’s been, Kim said she wouldn’t change her title of being a mom for anything. “Being a mom is everything. It’s the best feeling in the world. I just love being a mom. You know it’s exhausting, it’s grueling, but it’s the best.”

And among all the things Kim has been able to do, including being an instrumental part of getting the First Step Act passed and signed by President Donald J. Trump, her oldest sister Kourtney Kardashian said the thing she is most proud of Kim for is the mother she’s become.

“[I’m] most proud of Kim for the mother that she is and for the sister that she is.”

And the matriarch of the Kardashian family, Kris Jenner, agreed. Kris told the cameras, “Her world went from being herself and her work and her friends and her family to her daughter. Then when Saint came along, then North and Saint, and Chicago and so forth. She really puts them before herself.”

Most recently, Kim mixed business with motherhood during a trip to the family’s motherland, Armenia. In a tweet, Kim explained that she was traveling to Armenia in October because she hopes “to seek ways I can help increase trade and hopefully create jobs for Armenians which includes [Skims] production there in the future.”

Skims is the “solutionwear” line the reality star created last year. She added that “as a brand, we believe in embracing all people and as an individual I have been working towards broader goals in hopes of bringing forward the recognition of the Armenian genocide which I remain very passionate about.”

But while on the trip, Kim also had her three youngest children baptized at the Etchmiadzin Cathedral. According to People, the “Etchmiadzin Cathedral is the mother church of the Armenian Apostolic Church.”

North was not baptized during the trip because she was baptized in Jerusalem in 2015. And although her husband, Kanye West, was present for North’s baptism in Jerusalem, People reports that he was not in Armenia to see Saint, Chicago, and Psalm get baptized. However, Kourtney was with Kim and her family for the Armenian celebration.

And in a tweet, the mother also revealed that she too got baptized and thanked the country “for such a memorable trip.”
