New mom Cametrione Malone-Brown marked 9/11 by bringing new life into the world. And, in a triple coincidence, her baby girl was born at 9:11 p.m. on 9/11 and weighed 9 lbs. and 11 oz.
The doctor who delivered baby Christina Malone-Brown at Methodist LeBonheur Germantown in Tennessee exclaimed, “Oh my God! This is a 9-11, 9-11 baby,” she told ABC7 News.

Meet Christina Malone-Brown, the 9/11 Baby
Justin Brown, the baby’s father, told WREG Memphis, that they had initially entered the delivery room at 8:55 p.m., but things were moving quickly.
“Then all of a sudden, we heard the ‘wah!’ and next thing you know, they called it 9:11 and then they got to the table and they were like, ‘Oh my gosh! She’s weighs 9/11,” he continued.
Rachel Laughlin, a patient care coordinator at the hospital, told WREG that she’s never experienced a birth quite like that.
“I’ve never seen it in 38 years,” she told the outlet. “It’s very rare, but very special. It just makes her an even more special little girl than she already is.”
This year marked the eighteenth anniversary of the September 11 attacks.
“On that day, 9/11, you know, you find triumph, you find a piece of joy from a day that’s so drastic and still hurts,” Cametrione told WREG.
