Kamala Harris’ Stepson Cole Emhoff Jokingly Calls Out to SNL After They Forget About Him in Family Dinner Skit

As you may already know, Vice President Kamala Harris is stepmom to two kids, 21-year-old Ella Emhoff and 26-year-old Cole Emhoff. Cole and Ella affectionately call our first woman VP, “Mamala.”

However, it seems as though NBC’s Saturday Night Live forgot about one of Harris’ stepchildren when putting together a skit for their latest show. The skit revolved about Harris, played by Maya Rudolph, and her husband, Doug Emhoff’s, played by Martin Short, “Unity Seder.”

It featured the likes of Senator Ted Cruise played by Aidy Bryant, Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock played by Kenan Thompson, President Joe Biden played by Alex Moffat, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene played by Cecily Strong, and it even featured President Biden’s dog, Major.

Also involved in the skit was Doug’s daughter, Ella, played by Chloe Fineman. However, Cole wasn’t mentioned at all during the 7-minute skit. And he noticed before taking to Twitter to call SNL out.

Cole Emhoff Jokingly Responds to SNL After They Forget to Include Him in Family Dinner Skit

“SNL, how you gonna leave me out my own fam dinner,” Cole wrote along with the eye ball emoji. His mom, Kerstin Emhoff, also responded to her son’s tweet, saying that if there was a family dinner, Doug wouldn’t have left her out of it either.

“Hmmm, Cole and I def got left out of that skit, SNL. That’s not the Doug we know,” Kerstin wrote on Twitter. You can watch the skit in its entirety below:

SNL has not yet responded to either Cole’s or Kerstin’s tweets. In an interview with The New York Times, Cole said a funny anecdote about gaining Harris as a stepmom.

“I was a senior when they got together, and I remember I saw a tweet that someone did. It was a photo of Kamala at the Kavanaugh hearing, and someone tweeted, like, “I’d hate to have to look at that face and explain why I’m late for curfew.” And I was thinking, ‘I’ve literally had to do that.’”

So despite being left out on SNL’s version of their family dinners, it’s far from that in real life and that is all that matters!
