The Los Angeles Police Department has opened an investigation into T.I. and Tiny Harris following allegations of sexual assault.
The ongoing investigation was launched after an unnamed woman met with detectives in April to inform them about an alleged interaction she had with the celebrity couple in 2005, People reports.
T.I. & Tiny Harris Under Investigation After Woman Claimed She Was Drugged and a Victim of Sexual Assaulted by the Couple in 2005.
The woman’s allegations of drugging and sexual assault echo a similar claim made earlier this month by another woman in Las Vegas.
Rachelle Jenks‘ lawyer, Tyrone A. Blackburn confirmed as much to The Daily Beast but the outlet was unable to confirm if the investigation into Ms. Jenks’ claims are being actively investigated by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
According to a statement from T.I. and Tiny Harris’ lawyer, Steve Sadow, “The Harrises have not spoken to or been contacted by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the Las Vegas Police Department (LVPD) or, indeed, any member of law enforcement from any other jurisdiction in the country.”
“Even assuming the story in the Daily Beast is close to accurate, it appears the LAPD ‘accuser’ has chosen once again to remain anonymous, thereby preventing us from being in a position to disprove or refute her allegations — or even examine them,” the statement from the attorney claimed.
“Meanwhile, although we now appear for the first time to have the name of an ‘accuser’ who supposedly filed a police report with LVPD, we have absolutely zero details about her or her claim.”
According to an LAPD investigative report People obtained, the woman claimed she met the couple at a Los Angeles club and was offered and had a sip of Tiny’s drink. Then, the couple invited her back to their hotel room, the woman alleged, where the three were said to have showered together.
The woman claimed that she began to feel ill when T.I. performed a sexual act on her which she objected to, allegedly telling the rapper “no.”
According to her statement, the woman recalled her last memory: sitting on a couch throwing up in the bathroom. She also claimed that she woke up the next day “very sore” with a “burning/itching sensation” in her genital area.
Earlier this year, T.I. and Tiny faced accusations of sexual abuse after a woman claimed on social media that the couple would force women to take drugs and have sex with them. She also made the alarming claim that T.I. once held a gun to her head.
“Mr. and Mrs. Harris want to be on record and more importantly want the public to know they emphatically deny in the strongest way possible the egregiously appalling allegations being made against them,” a representative for the couple said at the time.
“The Harrises have had difficulty with this woman for well over a decade,” the statement continued and stated that the couple were “taking this matter very seriously, and if these allegations don’t end, they will take appropriate legal action.”
Attorney Blackburn is representing multiple women who allege sexual assault by T.I. and Tiny. In a statement released about his clients, Blackburn said his office had been contacted numerous “women, survivors and witnesses” all with “a myriad of allegations of forced drugging, kidnapping, rape, and intimidation.”

The allegations “span over fifteen years,” the release states. According to it, allegations are “eerily consistent” in each case. The individual claims from his clients reportedly contain allegations of being “coerced by Tiny to ingest drugs” or “unknowingly administered drugs to impair the victims’ ability to consent” to “sexual acts.”
Following the allegations T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle, the couple’s VH1 reality TV show suspended production.
