Kate Winslet continues to be over the moon about her husband, Edward Abel Smith, in her latest interview.
The actress who loves to keep her private life closely guarded, recently was all praise for her husband.
Speaking to New York Times, Winslet said her husband is “the superhot, superhuman, stay-at-home dad.” Edward Abel Smith, who was formerly known as Ned Rocknroll, got married to Kate back in 2012 and the two share a 7-year-old son named Bear Blaze.
“He looks after us, especially me. I said to him earlier, like, ‘Neddy, could you do something for me?’ He just went, ‘Anything’. He is an absolutely extraordinary life partner,” Kate said.
Winslet continued to gush over him, saying: “I’m so, so, so lucky. For a man who is severely dyslexic, as he is, he’s great at testing me on lines. It’s so hard for him to read out loud, but he still does it.”

Kate revealed how Edward “didn’t particularly plan on meeting and marrying a woman who is in the public eye and therefore having been so judged” but he handles it well. She says he spends a lot of time focuses on “calming energy.”
“He’s vegan, does yoga, breath work and cold water swims,” Kate shared with the New York Times.
In addition, Winslet is beyond proud of her daughter, who is now a professional actor, 20, and she did it without using her famous family’s last name.
In a recent interview, Winselt revealed how her daughter, Mia Threapleton is actually using her father’s surname to book high-profile acting jobs in the entertainment industry.
“She’s away now in the Czech Republic about to start on a TV series over there,” Winslet added. And while it was a newer decision, it did not come as a shock to Kate. “She’s away now in the Czech Republic about to start on a TV series over there,” Winslet added. “What’s great for her is she has a different surname, so that initial job out of the gate, she slipped right under the radar and the people who cast her had absolutely no idea that she was my daughter and, of course, that was my biggest fear and most important for her self-esteem, of course,” said Winslet.
