Hunter McGrady is sharing what motherhood really looks like on her Instagram.
“Not perfect, not edited, doesn’t fit my feed’s aesthetic but it’s a very real look at what the last 5 weeks have been,” McGrady began.
“I posted on my stories the other day that I thought right after Hudson was born I would have content lined up, I would get all these amazing shots, I would take tons of photos in all the outfits we got him.”
“AND the reality is, most of my ‘amazing’ shots look like this, sprinkled with photos of me wearing the same sweatshirt I’ve been wearing since the day we got home with him. I actually recently changed it because I didn’t want Hudson to look back at pics and think I didn’t change for 5 weeks while he was growing rapidly in each picture ???? anyone else feel this?”
“We also have just been recycling the same onesies because it’s easy. Some days I want to get all done up, it’s fun! I feel beautiful when i do and there is nothing wrong with that, but 90% of the time it’s this and that’s ok too. Just a reminder that it’s ok if something doesn’t happen the way we thought it would. You’re doing enough, Full stop ❤️”
Just recently, the new mom posted a fire selfie to her Instagram, embracing her new body post-baby.
“I’m Just a girl, standing in front of a mirror, 12 days postpartum, with breast milk stains, and depends diapers, pure exhaustion, asking herself to learn to love this new body,” McGrady began.
“To give herself grace, to feel the gummy-ness of her new tummy, and the loose skin and remembering that this body not only created life, but housed it for 9 months, went 45 hours into labor, and is now feeding it daily all with one vessel. I feel so grateful for this body today. Leaky breasts, bloody diapers(on my end) new stretch marks, gummy tummy and all.”

Hudson Tynan Keys was born to McGrady and her husband, Brian Keys, on June 26, 2021, at 7lbs 1oz and 21” tall.
“2 months to the day since my angel brother has been gone. ????” her post to Instagram tributing her newborn after her brother had passed, began.
“One of the first things I wrapped my baby up in was a shirt from my little brother, Tynan (See above) I wanted Hudson to smell what his uncle smelled like right away, and I didn’t touch this shirt much for that exact reason. I know for a fact that my son met my sweet brother before we did, and in fact, he held him first.”
