Actress Denise Richards’ 17-year-old daughter is speaking out against her mom. According to a source, Richards’ daughter, Sami Sheen, alleged that the household she was brought up in was “abusive.”
As Page Six reports, while uploading TikToks to her official account, Sami, whose father is actor Charlie Sheen, told her followers that at the age of 17 she has already moved out of her mother’s home. Now, she is living with her dad, Charlie.

The teen went on to complain about the feeling of being “trapped” in her mother’s home. Per Page Six, Sami continued saying, she “finally moved out of the hell house, had a spiritual awakening, own 2 cats, happy, single, full of self-love, and dropped out of high school.”

In a statement given through his publicist, Charlie responded to the news that his daughter now lives with him. “Sam is amazing. I love her and all my children unconditionally. We’re having a ball. GED here we come.”
Now, a source is claiming to People that the rules Denise Richards’ set for her child are “normal rules that any parent would be setting.” However, the source claims that it was Sami who was being “defiant.”
“She’s a mom and a parent and there are rules. [Sami] didn’t want to follow the rules,” the source told People. “Charlie didn’t support implementing Denise’s rules. He has a different way of parenting and Sami decided to live with her dad.”
The sources further claimed that Denise Richards is hurt by the accusations her daughter allegedly made. “Denise loves her daughter very much and she’s saddened by the situation.”
Sami has a 16-year-old sister Lola rose, who still lives with Denise. And Denise also has another daughter from a different relationship, Eloise Joni, who is 10.
In previous interviews, Denise has owned up to be a “strict parent.” “I definitely have rules and boundaries, and there are consequences,” Denise told People in the past. She later added that she “doesn’t just let her daughters ‘do whatever they want.’”
Some of those rules applied to social media, Denise revealed in a separate interview, Mamas Uncut previously reported. “I really do think it’s not healthy for kids at all and there’s a responsibility with it,” the mom of three said about social media.
“When I get negative comments, there are times where even at my age,” she says, “it still hurts and it’s hard.” She adds, “I’m still having those conversations, and they’re endless, and it’s very challenging.”
However, now that Sami no longer lives with her mother, it seems as though she is dipping her toes in the world of social media.
