In August, Today Show host Jenna Bush Hager and her husband, Henry Hager, welcomed their son “Hal” into the world, and two months later, she’s sharing new photos of her handsome bundle of joy.
As Jenna shared on social media, she gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Henry Harold “Hal” Hager on August 2 at 9:02 a.m. Now, she’s sharing new close-up photos of Hal, showing how much he’s changed in just eight short weeks.

Just days after his birth, the proud mom gushed that their “life has never been sweeter” after meeting their son, and their parents’ grandson.
And ever since that day two months ago, Jenna and Henry—who are also parents to two daughters, Mila and Poppy—haven’t stopped sharing photos of their adorable son with her Instagram followers.
The now mom-of-three said about their first outing as a family of five, “We left the house!!!! Life is wilder and we are perpetually late and walk slower. But life with Hal is so, so sweet.”
Yet that was when Hal was just 10 days old. Now, look at him in these new photos taken by photographer Nathan Congleton in celebration of turning “two months (and a day!!)” old.
Jenna captioned the series of photos, “Two months (and a day!!) with the sweetest Hal-pal in the whole world.”
As fans of Jenna’s can see, the first photo in the series shows Hal peacefully sleeping in his crib. The second image then shows the nearly 9-week-old stretching:

And lastly, Jenna included a beautiful photo of her embracing her little boy while giving him a gentle kiss on his forehead:
And hundreds of her followers also couldn’t help gushing over the incredible sweet photos.
Fellow host, Natalie Morales, wrote, “Perfect little face,” and so many more agreed.
In a new interview with People, Jenna’s colleague Savannah Guthrie said she believes Hal looks a lot like his mom, but as he continues to grow, she’s starting to see more of Henry every day.
She told People, “I think he looks like Jenna but then the last few days he started looking a little bit like Henry.”
As Jenna told her Today Show colleagues days after Hal’s birth, she and Henry weren’t exactly sure what they were going to name their son until Mila and Poppy came up with a nickname for his nickname.
She explained, “We weren’t exactly sure about the name but then his big sisters arrived and they called him ‘Hal Pal’ and I thought, this is just perfect.”
Guthrie also mentioned that they can’t wait to have Jenna back on set with them following her maternity leave. However, it’s unclear exactly when she will return.
