Scott and wife Linda Phan, who married in 2018, welcomed Parker in May, on the same day as their wedding anniversary.

“Our lives are forever changed,” Scott wrote on Instagram back in June, announcing Parker’s arrival in a carousel of images. “Welcome to the world Parker James.”

He also spoke on what fatherhood means to him on the podcast he hosts with his wife, “At Home with Linda & Drew Scott.”

“It’s this immediate love and this feeling of you need to do everything you can to make them feel safe and make them feel loved,” he said at the time.

Originally, the new parents shared their pregnancy announcement on an episode of their “At Home” podcast last winter. “Cat’s out of the bag, everyone,” Scott told their listeners. “Linda’s pregnant!” The couple wed in May 2018 and have been open about their future family plans since tying the knot in Italy.

“Right now, there [are] no plans for having kids immediately. But we definitely want to have kids,” the expecting dad shared back in May of 2019. “That’s why we did the renovation on our place, as well, to make sure it’s a great home that our family can grow into so.”

And then five months later, Scott joked with Us that the pair wanted “17 kids,” saying, “I think most parents do that. They’re like, ‘Let’s have 10.’ And then they’re like, ‘One’s good.’ However many we have, we’ve spent a lot of time building a home that will show them a lot of love.”
