Khloé Kardashian recently sat down with Jennifer Hudson on Jennifer Hudson Show and talked about everything from her new son’s name to her daughter-themed nails and True’s obsession with makeup and cats. While she has yet to reveal her son’s name, she did give us one major detail to help us guess it.
Khloé confirmed that her son’s name will start with a T – the same initial as his big sister, True, and father, Tristan Thompson. She also confirmed the reason why she hasn’t revealed the name. At first, he didn’t have a name because she wanted to feel him out and get to know him first before giving him a name.
Now that he has been named, she’s waiting for the premiere of Season 3 of her hit reality series The Kardashians – which also follows Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, and Kris Jenner. While she would’ve loved to reveal her son’s name by now, she’s currently waiting for the premiere on May 25.

“He’s eight months old and he is a little chunk. I wouldn’t have it any other way,” she said of her new son, adding she loves a chubby baby. “He is a quiet baby. He’s a happy baby, which is amazing – and my daughter was the same, so I’ve been lucky twice,” Khloé continued, adding that True is the best big sister.
With her son being born via a surrogate, Khloé Kardashian wasn’t quite sure how her daughter would react to his arrival into their lives – she was worried True wouldn’t understand since she wasn’t pregnant at all. Nonetheless, she calls True resilient and instinctual with her ‘maternal loving’ and being a sister.
Khloé also brought up the fact that her daughter is almost 5 years old – she celebrates her 5th birthday on April 12. “I’m not okay with her turning 5 – I’m not okay with it. It’s too much,” she says. Earlier in the interview, she was asked about her nails, which take after the theme of her daughter’s birthday party.
Khloé and Tristan welcomed True on April 12, 2018 – she announced her pregnancy in December 2017, sharing a photo of her baby bump with Instagram followers on December 20. “My greatest dream realized! We are having a baby!” she wrote in the caption. Her son was born via surrogate in July 2022.
Khloe Kardashian Reveals Two of True’s Biggest Interests
After talking about her daughter’s upcoming birthday, Khloé Kardashian turned her attention to two of her daughter’s favorite things – makeup and cats. While she doesn’t quite understand how to use makeup and opts to use it more like face paint, Khloé is okay with letting her do her thing and lets her be a kid.
“I like her to explore and do her thing. I mean at this age they don’t really know anything. It’s just like face painting and fun stuff that drives me crazy,” she said – referring to her obsession with cleaning, which doesn’t mesh well with her daughter’s ability to make a mess. She encourages it, but freaks out inside.

As for her obsession with cats, Khloé revealed that she has always gravitated towards cats and even asked for one – so now they have a grey cat that they named Grey Kitty. While Khloé never grew up with cats because her mother faked an allergy to get out of it, her daughter’s cat is now part of the family.

“She is obsessed with this cat and this is her baby. It’s the first thing she wants to see when she wakes up and she has to give it a kiss before she goes to bed – like she is in love with Grey Kitty,” she said – adding that she loves Grey Kitty, too – now, let’s hope her son grows up loving Grey Kitty as well!
