Casey Wilson is telling us how she really feels about Tim Allen after working with him on the set of The Santa Clauses. She appeared as a guest star in the 2022 pilot episode – which aired on November 16, 2022, on Disney+ – and was, for a lack of better words, unimpressed by his demeanor and mannerisms.
The former Happy Endings actress took to her Bitch Sesh podcast to voice her displeasure. “Tim Allen was such a b—h. Worst, truly single worst experience I’ve ever had with a co-star ever,” she said – adding that she avoided talking about it because her kids love the movies and one of the producers is a friend.
She wasn’t avoiding it any longer and didn’t hold back with her criticism – saying the crew was ‘walking on eggshells’ in his presence and ‘people just looked frantic’ when he was around. “When he was done, he was so f*****g rude. Never made eye contact, never said anything. It was so uncomfortable,” she said.

Casey Wilson recounted finishing one of her close-up shots when Tim Allen abruptly left, without telling any of his fellow cast members. He allegedly picked up his Santa cape, dropped it on the floor, and said ‘Leaving!’ as he walked out. Casey went on to recount how much nicer the stand-in was to act against.
“People are scurrying to pick up his velvet Santa coat. He’s a b***h,” she continued while talking about it on her podcast. “And this is the best…I will not say who said this. This was someone that I do not know, perhaps in the crew. [He or she] breezes past me and just goes, ‘You’re seeing him on a good day.’”
There was another scene where Allen’s character (dressed as Santa Claus) comes down the chimney of Wilson’s character’s house. Thinking there’s an intruder in the house, Wilson’s character starts throwing things at Santa. At some point during that scene, Allen walked over to a producer with an attitude.
“[He] goes over to the producer who is standing four feet from me and goes, and I hear him, he goes, ‘You gotta tell her to stop stepping on my lines. The producer turns to me with horror on his face and has to walk one foot to me and he goes, ‘Um, Tim would ask that you stop stepping on his lines,’” she said.
Tim Allen Has Been Called Out Before
This isn’t the first time Tim Allen has come under fire for inappropriate and/or rude behavior. Earlier this year, Pamela Anderson wrote out about a time when Allen flashed her on the set of Home Improvement – she played Lisa in each of the first two seasons. The allegation was made in her memoir, Love, Pamela.
It was her first day on set – Pamela was 23 years old at the time (in 1991), while Allen was 38. According to her, Allen walked out of his dressing room wearing nothing but a robe and exposed himself. “He said it was only fair because he had seen me naked. Now we’re even. I laughed uncomfortably,” she recalled.
She later added that he was acting embarrassed all day long and even described him as a ‘little giddy schoolboy’ after flashing her. When her allegation was published for the world to see, Allen was quick to deny it – arguing that he would ‘never do such a thing’ and said he was ‘disappointed’ by the accusation.

Season 2 of The Santa Clauses premiered on November 8, 2023, with the first two episodes and, as of today, the entire six-episode season is available to stream on Disney+. While Casey Wilson isn’t in the new season, it’s unlikely that she would ever want to work with Tim Allen again after the way he allegedly acted.
