The 2024 U.S. Olympic gymnastics trials are officially underway with the men completing Day 1 of their competition on Thursday and the women – including Simone Biles – taking center stage on Friday.
By Sunday, the United States’ team roster will be set for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games.
It’s a big weekend for Simone Biles, who is looking to compete in her third consecutive Olympic Games – adding to what’s already an impressive Olympic career with four gold, one silver, and two bronze medals.

For those who want to watch Simone Biles this weekend, the two-time Olympian is set to compete her first rotation (uneven bars) shortly after 7:45 p.m. ET on Friday – she’ll then compete throughout the night.
She’ll return on Sunday and complete her first rotation (vault) around 8:20 p.m. ET.
Barring any major setbacks, Simone Biles is a near-lock to be included on the women’s U.S. national gymnastics team – which will be competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics between July 28 and August 5.
Gold-Inspired Baby Names to Honor Simone Biles’ Olympic Comeback
Simone Biles’ return to the Olympics comes three years after her uncharacteristic blunder at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics – where she withdrew from the women’s team final and four subsequent individual finals.
Her withdrawal was a result of her case of the ‘twisties’ – another word for ‘mental block.’
She took the time she needed to address her mental health concerns and is now more ready than ever to represent the US at this year’s Olympic Games in Paris, France – and is a favorite to win multiple golds.
But first, she needs to continue her preparation in the U.S. Olympic Trials this weekend.

So, why not honor that legacy with one of the golden baby names from above?
It’s the perfect way to show your support for Team USA as they look to continue their dominance on one of the biggest stages in all of sports – especially for couples who are due to have a baby this summer.
