Jennifer Garner is officially embracing the spooky season.
The “13 Going On 30” actress took to social media over the weekend to share some behind the scenes footage of her walking through a haunted house with her 12-year-old son, Samuel.
The video was filled with hilarious one-liners that most of us have screamed in a haunted house at one point or another, as well as some relatable comments from Samuel, who had to put up with his mom’s screams all night.

“I see you!” she says to one of the monsters approaching her.
“I don’t like when they pursue us. Don’t pursue!” she screams at them.
As the pursuit continued, Garner tried to speak courage into existence.
“Stay in there! Stay there!” she screamed. “There’s a person. I see you and I’m not freightened of you.”
At one point in the video, Samuel can be heard in the background pleading with his mother to stop squeezing his hand so tight.
“Mom, you’re breaking my hand,” he says as they both share a laugh. “I can’t actually feel my hand.”
Samuel is the youngest of Garner’s three children with ex-husband actor Ben Affleck. The former couple also share daughters Violet, 18, and Seraphina, 15.
Unfortunately for Samuel, Garner was more than willing to let go of his hand under certain circumstances.
“I’m not who you want,” she said to one of the monsters. “Take my son,” she joked.
Eventually, she started throwing out nervous compliments. “That is very effective!” she yelled after something spooked her.
Fans were quick to share their favorite one-liners in the comments section as well, and some shared some funny remarks of their own.
“Girl, you got Alias and Elektra skills. They should be afraid of you,” said one Instagram user, while another commented, “Can you imagine working the haunted house and it’s Jennifer Garner? I would poop my pants.”
Garner staying busy as Halloween approaches
Garner is no stranger to fall traditions.
When she’s not losing her voice in a haunted house, she’s singing to her baby pumpkins at her century-old family farm in Locust Grove, Oklahoma called Once Upon a Farm.
“Go to sleep, little pumpkin, when you wake up you’ll be big,” she sang while cradling a baby pumpkin in an Oct. 26 post on Instagram.
“Aww, it has little baby fuzz,” she pointed out before encouraging it to grow more. “You’re doing a great job. Keep going.”
Last month, she shared a photo of her pumpkin haul while wishing her Uncle Robert a happy birthday.
