Just moments ago, Actress Megan Fox, best known for her roles in “Jennifer’s Body” and the “Transformers” series, wiped her Instagram clean.
She then made a single post for her 21.6 million followers.
Covered in what appears to be black ink, Fox is seen cradling a baby bump. In the second photo, Fox shared a picture of a First Response pregnancy test that read “YES+.”
“Nothing is ever really lost,” she wrote in the caption. “Welcome back.”
Last year, Fox published a book of poems titled “Pretty Boys Are Poisonous.”
In two of the poems, Fox revealed that she and her on-again-off-again fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), had experienced a miscarriage.
“There is an ultrasound by your side of the bed,” she wrote in one poem. “10 weeks and 1 day.”
In the second poem, the actress wrote, “I close my eyes and imagine…Holding you tight against my chest. […] I will pay any price tell me please what is the ransom for her soul?”
Several months later, MGK also rapped about the miscarriage in one of his songs.
“One day and another 10 weeks / I never even got to hear your heart beat. […] How can I live with the fact / That my hand wasn’t on her stomach when we lost the baby?”
Fox spoke openly about the loss in an interview with “Good Morning America.”
“I’ve never been through anything like that in my life,” she admitted. “I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately…trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?’”
Fox shares her three oldest kids with her ex-husband, actor Brian Austin Green.
In a separate interview with Rolling Stone, Fox said, “These poems were written in an attempt to excise the illness that had taken root in me because of my silence.”
Fox and MGK first got engaged in January 2022.
According to ELLE, they first met each other while on the movie set for “Midnight in the Switchgrass” in 2020.
Fox tagged MGK in the post announcing her pregnancy. He has yet to make a statement of his own.
