What should you expect in Week 13?
- This is the last week of your first trimester! How exciting is that?
- As you continue to grow, you may notice some stretch marks, but your morning sickness is likely subsiding!
- At this point, you may also start to experience some heartburn, and the mammary ducts in your breasts are preparing for milk production.
- And as American Pregnancy Association reports, your baby’s head has been the biggest part of its body up to this point, but that’s going to change very soon.
- Currently, it is only 1/3 of your baby’s body!
- Your baby now has unique fingerprints, and their kidney and urinary tract are fully functional.
- Moms, you may also be experiencing sensitivity to gas fumes at this stage! So have someone help you when it’s time to fill up your gas tank!
