Your baby is the size of a ben & jerry's pint!
Fun Fact!
Their muscles are growing and your baby is showing them off with moving around! Dos and Don'ts
- Do take note of your baby's movements once you start to feel them kick
- Don't push yourself, listen to your body, rest when you need to
What should you expect in Week 20?
- HALFWAY THERE! CONGRATULATIONS! You and baby have been through A LOT to get here, but it’s about to be so worth it!
- Mama, you’ve likely gained about 8 to 10 pounds since finding out you were pregnant! And you can expect to gain anywhere from 10 to 20 more pounds!
- And odds are, at this point, you felt your baby move for the first time! How amazing was that experience?
- As for your little one, American pregnancy reports that “your baby is beginning to produce meconium, a dark green or black, sticky substance that will constitute your baby’s first messy diaper.”
- And while the plan is far from concrete, you have likely begun to form a birth plan!
- It’s also not a bad idea to start thinking about what you want in your “go bag” and start making a list!
- And if your partner is anxious to be involved in some way, that nursery isn’t going to build itself!
