Last weekend, Mother’s Day was celebrated in the UK and to mark the occasion, Kate Middleton shared some personal photos on Kensington Royal’s official Instagram account.
The never-before-seen images included a photo of the Duchess giving Princess Charlotte a piggyback ride while Prince William stands by their side, an image of Princess Diana with Prince William and Prince Harry and an image of her mom holding Kate when she was an infant.

“To mothers new and old and families spending today together and apart – we are thinking of you all at this difficult time. Happy Mother’s Day,” she wrote along with the photos. The last photo in the series was of a sweet Mother’s Day card Prince George made for Kate.
Kate Middleton Shares Never-Before-Seen Photos of Her Family for Mother’s Day
On Mother’s Day, Kate and William visited the National Health Services and spoke with staff who are in the midst of combatting the coronavirus. The couple had a number of previously scheduled engagements get canceled due to social distancing, but they took time to thank the health care workers for their hard work.
Last week, Kate also shared a sweet video of her three children “clapping for carers.” “To all the doctors, nurses, carers, GPs, pharmacists, volunteers and other NHS staff working tirelessly to help those affected by #COVID19,” the Duchess wrote along with the video.
William, Kate, and their children are currently staying at their country home in Norfolk as they self-quarantine. Kate’s sister-in-law Meghan Markle also shared well wishes on Mother’s Day.

“No matter what you call your mum, this Mother’s Day in the UK, we honor the mums all over the world who do so much every single day, and now more than ever. Thank you,” she wrote on Instagram. Meghan, Prince Harry, and Archie recently settled in Los Angeles, California where they are also self-quarantining.
