Kelly Clarkson’s Daughter, River Rose, Is Taking After Her Mother As She Rocks Her Talk Show Intro

With the world still trying to combat COVID-19, many of us are still home and avoiding large public crowds. And that also goes for our favorite daytime and nighttime talk show hosts.

So instead of just broadcasting reruns of their shows, thanks to technology the nation’s favorite hosts, like Jimmy Fallon, Ellen Degeneres, and Kelly Clarkson have been managing to pre-record episodes right from the comfort of their own homes.

And as for many of the hosts who are parents, their kids have been wanting in on the hosting action too. As it turns out, Clarkson’s daughter, River Rose, is just as much a natural in front of the camera as her mother is.

In a short clip shared on The Kelly Clarkson Show‘s official YouTube channel, the 5-year-old can be seen sitting in her little table and chair set with a wine glass full of orange juice as she asks her mom, who is holding the camera, “if she’s rolling.”

River then goes into an intro that will absolutely melt your heart. “Hey everybody! I know there’s a sickness going around and we can’t be together, but it’s okay because we can still call. And we can still when you’re sleeping, you can still dream about each other.”

“I hope you’re doing fine. And I love you. Bye,” River concluded her intro, complete with a kiss to her growing fan base. How sweet was that?

Aside from doing some short clips for her show from home, Clarkson has also been putting on mini-concerts from her home as well. Not only has she tackled Mariah Carey:

But Clarkson also did a beautiful rendition of Kenny Roger’s Sweet Music Man:
