Lori Loughlin and Husband Plead Guilty to Conspiracy And Now Face Months of Jail Time

After pleading not guilty several months ago to the charges against her and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, Lori Loughlin has reportedly changed her tune. On May 21, news broke that Giannulli and Loughlin had agreed to plead guilty to conspiracy charges, according to CNN.

The charges stem from the husband and wife’s involvement in the college admissions scam that took place at USC over the years. Despite repeatedly denying the accusations against them, Loughlin and Giannulli have been accused of paying $500,000 to get their daughters, Olivia Jade and Bella, into the University of Southern California.

Olivia and Bella were admitted into USC while being disgusted as crew team recruits. However, neither Olivia or Bella have ever rowed crew, but their doctored applications and resumes said otherwise.

According to authorities, as reported by CNN, the result of taking the plea deal will end with “Loughlin being sentenced to two months in prison, and Giannulli being sentenced to five months in prison, subject to the court’s approval.”

On top of their prison sentences, “Loughlin faces a $150,000 fine, two years of supervised release and 100 hours of community service,” while “Giannulli faces a $250,000 fine, two years of supervised release and 250 hours of community service.”

The couple is scheduled to enter their pleas in court on May 22 at 11:30 a.m. A source close to Loughlin and Giannulli said the parents are “going through the legal process and want to put this behind them.”

However, despite the drama their behavior has caused for their family, their youngest daughter Olivia Jade sent out a beautiful Mother’s Day message to Loughlin on May 10. Along with a throwback black and white photos of them, Olivia wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas out there. Thank you God for mine!!!!”

“You are my best friend and have held my hand every day for 20 years making it look like motherhood is an easy job. You are one of a kind. I love you so so so much & cannot wait to give you all the love in the world today & forever. Thank you for being you. You are the most special person to me. I am so blessed to be your daughter and so proud to call you mom. I LOVE YOU.”

Despite a brief hiatus from her role as an influencer and YouTuber, Olivia has yet to speak directly on the legal battle that seems to be coming to an end. Olivia and Bella are no longer students at USC.
