This Dad Totally Won Zoom School with Hilarious Dance Video

Let’s be honest – virtual schooling is weird for everyone and sometimes you do something on camera that wasn’t really intended for a wider audience. Such was the case when one dad decided to dance his heart out while, unbeknownst to him, his daughter was filming a video that she later shared with her school teacher.

I was checking Delaney's seesaw (app for school) and she often will send her teachers random videos wishing them well, or goodnight, or just talking to talk. Well…. I found this as a sent video from earlier today. I hope her teacher laughed as hard as I did….How's your distance learning going?*update* Daddy thought she was just making a "tutorial" like she typically does. He didn't know she uploaded it to seesaw and sent it to her 1st grade teacher!

Little Delaney was innocently filming a craft tutorial, when her dad Isaac broke out dancing right behind her. The hilarious video was shared by her mom Jennifer Jones on Facebook.

“I was checking Delaney’s seesaw [app for school] and she often will send her teachers random videos wishing them well, or goodnight, or just talking to talk,” her mom wrote on Facebook when she shared the video. “Well…. Delaney’s use of glitter glue was impressive, but we have to give major points to her dad who clapped, air kissed and shimmied his way through Kidz Bop’s “Uptown Funk.” Later in the video, Delaney’s two brothers join the impromptu dance party much to her enjoyment.

Delaney and her mom weren’t the only ones who got a kick out of her dad’s performance – the video now has more than 12 million views.

Isaac, for one, is glad he could spread a little joy with the now viral video.

“I’m so glad to spread a little levity and distraction in a time when I know I certainly need it, so I’m hoping you’ve needed it too!” he wrote on Facebook. “Thanks for allowing me the blessing of sharing my incredible family that always keeps me laughing.”
