Aaron Carter’s Dog, Zelda, Finds New Home With Fiancée’s Sister

Just one day after the singer-songwriter passed away, Aaron Carter’s dog – Zelda –has found a new home. The three-year-old German Shepherd is now living with his fiancée’s sister, Jennifer. She’s more than happy to give the beautiful dog a loving and caring home – especially during a time like this.

Aaron Carter held a special bond with Zelda, posting pictures with his ‘precious girl’ and featuring her on his Instagram from time to time. “She loves her daddy,” captioned one photo of the inseparable duo. It’s a connection that only dog owners understand – one that can give you a sense of purpose and meaning.

In the moments after Aaron was found dead in his bathtub, Zelda was visibly shaken and worried – she knew something was wrong. According to Jennifer and her fiance, Max, Zelda “seemed to be in shock” and was acting “nervous and scared” when found. It’s a feeling no puppy wants to have about their owner.

Zelda wasn’t the only puppy Aaron Carter and his fiance, Melanie Martin, had at the time of his death. He also had a much younger pup named Karma. The puppy was a little more oblivious to what was going on, considering how young it was. Nonetheless, Karma found a new home with one of Jennifer’s colleagues.

Aaron Carter was found dead in his Lancaster, CA home by a housekeeper on November 5th. There were reportedly prescription pills and several cans of compressed air next to the bathtub, where his body was found. While an autopsy has been performed, his cause of death is unknown pending a toxicology report.

The first notified of Aaron Carter’s death was his mother, Jane Schneck. His body has since been cremated and his ashes are being kept with his twin sister, Angel. While he didn’t have a close relationship with his family, the Carter family – including Angel and Nick – are devastated by his passing.

“To my twin… I loved you beyond measure. You will be missed dearly. My funny, sweet Aaron, I have so many memories of you and I, and I promise to cherish them. I know you’re at peace now. I will carry you with me until the day I die and get to see you again,” wrote Angel Carter in a touching Instagram post.

You Can Follow Aaron Carter’s Dog on TikTok!

While Aaron Carter’s dog has a new home, that doesn’t mean you can’t follow the German Shepherd’s journey as she learns to live without its original owner. Jennifer, who would’ve been Carter’s sister-in-law, started a TikTok to document the pup’s journey – that way, fans can keep tabs on the furry friend.

You can find the account @bellarooandmaxypoo – it has 3,677 followers and more than 12,000 likes. Zelda definitely seems a little sad in some of the videos as she learns to cope with the loss, but it’s good to know she has a loving family supporting her with lots of pets, cuddles, and unconditional love.
