It’s been about four months since John David and Abbie Duggar gave birth to their daughter Grace. And since then, the couple has been busy preparing and modifying their baby’s nursery to work for their family. The couple is giving fans a very special update about how their parenting journey is going in a newly released video.
John and Abbie opened up their home to cameras and to fans to give a tour of baby Gracie’s nursery. The new video released by TLC shows just how much these young parents have already accomplished.
Grace’s nursery is a multipurpose space at the moment because Grace hasn’t moved in full-time yet.
Abbie shares in the video that her daughter still sleeps with her and John in their bedroom. While the changing table next to a large printer might seem cramped, Grace is not in the room very often and it’s still functioning as an office and a guest bedroom.
As the video continues, fans are treated to some cuter aspects of the space that include Grace’s crib.
Abbie shows off Grace’s crib which is covered in a precious pink floral print.
The blush floral pattern accompanied by creams and light grey stuffed animals are all very well thought out and pretty. Although Grace isn’t really sleeping in the room yet, it’s excellent that Abbie has her set up with comforting items.
“Sometimes she’ll take naps in here,” Abbie admits.
The nursery also contains a well-organized dresser.
With Grace in her arms, Abbie goes on to show fans the small dresser filled with her baby’s clothes. There’s a cubby for onesies, another for sleepers, and a third for children’s books. The light grey, cream, and pink color scheme continues here as well. The structure of the dresser itself is cream with a cream framed mirror on top. The cubby insert blocks are light grey and a pink lamp bring it all together.
As Abbie gives the tour, fans are also treated to a couple of glimpses of the adorable baby.
Those cheeks! Notice the white bow on Gracie’s head? She’s got an entire collection of bows. Abbie has organized her daughter’s bows on a cute little hanger. In the last three pictures that Abbie has shared of her daughter on Instagram, she’s been wearing a bow. It’s her signature look!
“All of her little bows, she likes to wear bows,” Abbie says.
Grace will be four months old next month.
While the virtual tour of Grace’s room is rather short, you get a good idea of the little baby’s future bedroom. Grace will turn four months old in about a week and that will be one week closer to her moving into the nursery and enjoying all of the love Abbie and John have put into it. They’ve created a comfortable and cozy nursery that we think all members of the family will enjoy being in.
