Abby Lee Miller revealed that she reached out to Todd Chrisley before he began his prison stint. For those who don’t know, Abby Lee also served time in prison in 2017 and 2018 for 20 counts of fraud after she was found to have hidden over $755,000.
Abby Lee Miller Revealed She Shared a Message With Todd Chrisley Before He Went to Prison
As Abby Lee shared with Entertainment Tonight, she told Todd to “be careful.” Before saying of the fellow reality star, “He’s very bougie. He is not going to be able to handle, like, the soap and the towels.”
Nonetheless, Miller admits there is a way for Chrisley to survive more easily in prison. “I think he’ll do some trade-outs, there’s a way to survive in there,” she added.
However, she admits that there is an added level of difficulty if you are a celebrity in prison. “When I went in, nobody even wanted to come to the front to get me. There were volunteers that come and give you a tour and all that … no one would come except my dear friend, Michelle, who I still talk to at least once a week.”
Both Todd and his wife, Julie, who is also serving time, are appealing their case.

As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Todd and Julie weren’t the only Chrisleys in legal trouble recently. According to TMZ, police say Kyle made death threats against his boss before beating him.
Notes made by a responding officer claim that Kyle’s boss was badly battered and bruised after he was “struck multiple times in the face and upper body,” including his head, neck, and hand. As for why Kyle attacked his boss that remains unclear.
People also reported that Kyle was arrested by the Smyrna police on aggravated assault charges. In the press release that was shared regarding the incident, it revealed that Kyle was arrested after getting into a physical altercation with a supervisor.
According to People, Kyle works for a truck rental company in Smyrna, Tennessee. The statement further revealed that Kyle “voluntarily appeared … for booking procedures related to the active criminal warrant.” After being booked at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center, his bond was set at $3,000.
He is due to appear in court again on March 20. Kyle is the father of Chloe, whom Todd and Julie had custody of before going to Prison. Now, Kyle’s half-sister, Savannah, had custody of Chloe.
Kyle is biologically not Julie’s child. Todd shares two children with his ex-wife, Teresa; Kyle and Lindsie. It’s unclear how often Kyle sees Chloe.
As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Chloe’s mom, Angela Johnson has claimed that she will fight to regain custody of Chloe while Todd and Julie are in prison.
Over the last couple of months, Savannah has used her podcast to keep their fans abreast of what is going on since her parents were convicted of fraud.
During one of the episodes of her podcast, Savannah and her grandmother “Nanny Faye,” talked about how hard it’s been. “If we’re being honest about it, everyone knows mom and dad were your primary caregiver,” she told Savannah.
“There wasn’t one treatment [for my bladder cancer] where my precious daughter-in-law wasn’t with me — not one time. Through it all, she’s been with me.”
Savannah replied saying, “It’s hard because mom was everyone’s primary caregiver.” Faye agreed, adding, “When you needed something, call Julie. She’d call me three or four times every day. And by seven o clock, she had called me to see if I was OK and to see if I had a good night.”
As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Savannah has gained custody of Todd and Julie’s youngest son and their only granddaughter. Their son Grayson is 16 years old and their granddaughter Chloe is 10.
In a previous episode of their podcast, Savannah shared how her parents are doing in prison and how their children were handling it as well.
Savannah revealed that she’s doing her best to stay strong for Grayson and Chloe, but admits that it has “been hard. It’s been hard to understand, process and also help two kids process what’s going on in our life.”
However, while Savannah’s been doing her best to “guide them” through this “very, very difficult” process, Grayson has had a breakdown since his parents have been in prison.
“Grayson is 16 years old, [and] there’s so much growth going on with him right now. And it breaks my heart to know that my parents are missing out on that. Last night, Gray had a breakdown, and he’s trying to process my parents and the situation that they’re in and how that’s not the image that he wants to have of them.”
Savannah continued, adding that Chloe has struggled to understand why her prayers aren’t being answered during this time. “We were driving down the road the other day, and Chloe had so much anger towards the situation and she just said, ‘Why? They’re not bad people, they don’t belong there.'”
“She looked at me with tears just rolling down her face and said, ‘Guess what? I pray all the time. I pray for mom and dad to get home, I pray all day and guess what Sassy? Nothing happens – it doesn’t work.’ And when a 10-year-old says that to you, how do you respond?”
And although she admits to not feeling “adequate” enough to care for her siblings, she adds that “It makes my heart to know that my parents are okay.”
In fact, Todd already has a new prison job, working at the prison chapel, calling it “absolutely amazing.”
“We talk to him, we email him. We get to see him, so for that, I am forever grateful, because there are so many people that don’t get to see their loved ones that are in different facilities, that are maybe in maximum-security prisons that don’t get visitors, that have to say hello through a piece of glass.”
As for Julie, Savannah adds, “It sounds crazy for me to say, ‘Alright, they’re doing really well,’ but they are. My mom, she’s made friends, she’s keeping busy, she’s going to church, she’s working, she’s playing some spades.”
Todd has been sentenced to 12 years in prison, while Julie has been sentenced to 7 years.
