On February 18, the family of Lindsey Pearlman, best known for her role in General Hospital, revealed that the actress was found dead. According to reports, Pearlman was first reported missing on February 15, according to her husband, when she never returned home.
It’s unclear what Pearlman was doing prior to her disappearance.

“Hi, friends. This is real,” her husband Vance Smith. “The last seen date is incorrect. Lindsey was last seen on 2/15 at 9 pm. I can’t share any more details at this time.”
“I am seeing and appreciate your messages of love and support, but I do not have the capacity to respond to all of them. Currently, the only way you can help is if you have specific information regarding her whereabouts or those of her car in the last two days. I will let people know when I have more information.”
According to her family that was the last time anyone had heard from her. Pearlman was 43 at the time of her passing.
In a statement issued by the Los Angeles Police Department, the actress was discovered on February 18 after police responded to the call of a death investigation. The investigation took place just south of Runyon Canyon.
“Today around 8:30 a.m., Hollywood Area officers responded to a radio call for a death investigation at Franklin Avenue and North Sierra Bonita Avenue. The L.A. County Coroner’s Office has since confirmed the individual to be Lindsey Erin Pearlman. The cause of death will be determined by the coroner.”
Many of Pearlman’s family members took to social media to get the word out about her disappearance. They later updated their accounts with the announcement that her body was found.
Pearlman’s husband also confirmed the news of her passing on Instagram. “The police found Lindsey. She’s gone. I’m broken,” he wrote. “I will share more later, but I wanted to thank you to everyone for their love and efforts and ask you to respect the privacy of her family at this time.”

Pearlman’s cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
