Adam Levine is no stranger to fatherhood, but he’s still getting used to being a family of five after he and his wife, Behati Prinsloo, welcomed a third daughter on January 28. The newest addition joins daughters 6-year-old Dusty Rose (born September 21, 2016) and 5-year-old Gio Grace (born February 15, 2018).
The 43-year-old musician recently sat down with Ryan Seacrest on iHeartRadio’s On-Air With Ryan Seacrest to talk about being a father to three girls and what life is like in the family’s household. To many people’s surprise, he’s opening up to the stereotypical idea of driving his children around in a minivan.
“I pushed harder for the minivan. I see a minivan as you just bought into a whole new thing. You can make a minivan whatever you want it. It doesn’t have to be your mom’s Chrysler Town & Country. It can be this spectacular spaceship and fun,” Levine said to Seacrest on Friday – and he wasn’t joking!

The minivan might not be a bad idea, considering he just traded two of his Ferraris for what he thought was a vintage and extremely rare 1971 Maserati Ghibli – a car worth more than $1 million. Unfortunately, he later found out that the Maserati was a fake, and he is now suing the car broker who sold it to him.
That’s not the only addition Adam Levine made recently. According to photos obtained by TMZ last week, he was seen holding a new pooch as the family welcomed a new puppy to the family. It’s reportedly a German-bred Leonberger, which is known to grow to be anywhere from 140 to 170 pounds as an adult.
Adam Levine also compared life with three children to playing zone defense – opposed to man-to-man defense. “It’s like this and that. Here we go. Boom, boom, boom. It’s awesome,” he said in the interview, adding that he loves and is embracing the growing ‘chaos’ that comes with growing and building a family.
Just a few weeks ago, the Levine-Prinsloo household celebrated the 5th birthday of Gio Grace – which fans got an inside look at via Behati’s Instagram. She shared several photos of what appeared to be a fun-filled event. “5 y/o forever,” captioned the 34-year-old mother and Victoria’s Secret supermodel.

Back in September 2022 – in the midst of his cheating scandal – Adam Levine and his band, Maroon 5, announced their upcoming Las Vegas residency, called ‘M5LV • THE RESIDENCY,’ was kicking off sometime in March 2023. In case you’ve been living under a rock, we’re already in the month of March!
Speaking about the residency in his On-Air With Ryan Seacrest interview, Levine said fans should be excited for what the band has in store – calling it ‘one of the coolest things we’ve done and very different.’ While he didn’t elaborate on what’s so different about the project, it has fans curious and eager to find out.
“We are working on something that is unbelievably cool. … I’m most excited about this thing than I’ve been in a long time. Maybe [it’s an album]. It’s music. It’s definitely music. … We’re right in the middle of it, but just know I think it’s one of the coolest things we’ve done and very different,” he told Seacrest.
