Before his at-home interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Adam Sandler‘s daughter made him aware of a hair that was coming out of his ear and making him look ridiculous. So in an effort to please his 11-year-old, he took the clippers he usually uses and tried to shave the out of place hair off.
However, the quick trim turned into a bit of a hack job Sandler admitted.

“I wanted to tell you a quick thing about my Sunny,” Sandler began his story. “I had a hair coming out of my ear apparently and Sunny told me about it. And she said I look goofy, so I went and shaved it. I took the razor I usually shave with and I went like this and then I came downstairs and said, ‘How’s that, Sunny?’ And she said, ‘You’re bleeding.’ Tell Jimmy what it looks like back there.”
From there Sunny took the story over, explaining that her dad had cut his ear so badly that it looked like he had “guts” coming out of his ear. YIKES!
“So, it’s, like—it’s bloody and then there’s a big gut,” Sunny said of Sandler’s ear.
In fact, while talking to Jimmy, Sandler’s ear was still bleeding and used a paper towel to prove it. Thankfully, as the dad of two admitted the bleeding had slowed considerably by that time.
“So, you can see there’s a little blood. But we’re coming down, sweetie. Much better,” he said to his Sunny before she gave him a kiss on the cheek and walked out of the frame.
During his interview, Sandler also talked about what it’s been like having his two daughters always around. When Kimmel asked if he’s been hands-on with at-home learning, the dad honestly admitted, “not really.”
