Katie Lee is expecting her first child! Lee excitedly announced the news on Instagram in late February, posting a photo of herself eating a bowl of spaghetti while showing offer her burgeoning belly.
“Eating for two! Baby Biegel is on the way,” she wrote. The Food Network star has been open about her past struggles to conceive.

“I know a family will happen for us; it’s just not going to be as easy as we thought,” she wrote in an exclusive essay for People about her hope to have children with her husband Ryan Biegel, whom she married in September 2018. “We will keep working toward it. Someday we will have our happy new beginning.”

“I pray any of you out there experiencing the same will have yours too,” she continued. Lee shared that she had surgery and underwent in vitro fertilization as part of her journey to get pregnant.
Unfortunately, Lee revealed that the procedure was unsuccessful. “Not only is IVF physically exhausting, the emotional toll is unparalleled. We were filled with hope and excitement only to be crushed,” she told People.

Lee had initially opened up about her fertility issues in response to fans asking her if she was pregnant. “I get multiple messages a day asking me if I’m pregnant or why I am not pregnant yet,” she wrote on social media at the time.
“After one said that I looked ‘thick in the waist.’ I finally responded that it’s not ok to comment on a woman’s body and you never know what someone is going through,” Lee continued. Now Lee and Biegel are celebrating their happy news and they are excited about the future. Congratulations
