  • Do avoid secondhand smoke
  • Don't overdo it
Week 27 |
What should you expect in Week 27?
  • Believe it or not, by this point in your pregnancy your baby developed a “regular wake and sleep cycle,” American Pregnancy reports.
  • However, that sleep cycle may not mimic yours.
  • At this point you’re also likely feeling a lot of jerking movements, this is likely due to your baby having frequent hiccups.
  • As American Pregnancy reports, hiccups are perfectly normal and is the result of your baby’s lungs continue to grow.
  • And if you plan on taking birthing classes, now is the time to start.
  • It’s recommended that expecting parents finish such classes before the 37 week mark, giving you just 10 weeks to finish them!
  • Also, we’ve already been reminding you about the nursery, but have you picked out a stroller or car seat yet?
  • If not, now is the time to start researching the best options for you!
