Alec Baldwin is going to be a father of seven!
Currently, Alec and his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, share six children who are under the age of 10.
The pair share 8-year-old Carmen Gabriela, 6-year-old Rafael Thomas, 5-year-old Leonardo Ángel Charles, 3-year-old Romeo Alejandro David, and finally, Eduardo Pao Lucas, who celebrated his first birthday just a few months ago.
And Ireland, who is 26, is Alec’s eldest child. Her mother is the actor’s ex, Kim Basinger.
“One of the most beautiful things my children have experienced with a big family is how the heart can grow with every new sibling,” they said in a statement to People that confirmed the news.
“Our capacity to love continues to expand, and we can’t wait to embrace our new little one this fall!”
Alec went on to share in an Instagram post how the couple is embracing “the journey.”
“People ask why. This is why,” he captioned a video of his youngest laughing adorably. “Being a parent is the ultimate journey.”

As of late, Alec continues to be involved in an investigation into the death of Halyna Hutchins, who died on the Utah set of his film Rust when a prop gun he was holding went off. She was 42.
On Oct. 21 Alec accidentally fired a prop gun while filming the western Rust, striking and killing cinematographer Hutchins with a live bullet and injuring director Joel Souza.
According to an affidavit, Alec had been practicing drawing the gun while rehearsing for a scene when the weapon went off.
The bullet fatally struck Hutchins before hitting Souza, said Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Juan Rios according to a preliminary investigation.

Alec was told the gun was “cold,” which means there was no live round in it, by assistant director Dave Halls before Halls handed the prop firearm to the actor, according to a search warrant affidavit from the Santa Fe Sheriff’s Office.
Right after the news broke about the Rust shooting, Ireland made a post in support of her dad while also expressing sympathy for Hutchins, 42, and her friends and family, as well as Souza, 48.
Ireland wrote on her Instagram Story this past Friday. “My love and support go to Halnya [sic] Hutchins’ family and friends. Sending healing thoughts to Joel Souza.”
She added, “And wishing I could hug my dad extra tight today.”
