Alicia Witt, who is best known for her role in The Walking Dead, is dealing with unimaginable tragedy. According to new reports, a routine wellness check ended with her parents being found dead in their home.

According to TMZ, Witt’s cousin, along with the local Worcester, Massachusetts police department checked on Witt’s parents after she asked them to because she hadn’t heard from them in several days. Sadly, the cousin and police discovered both Robert and Diane Witt deceased.

As TMZ reported, as of right now, Robert’s, 87, and Diane’s, 75, deaths are not considered suspicious, as there were no signs of foul play. “There was no trauma,” Lt. Sean Murtha said. However, the cause of their deaths remains mysterious.

According to first responders, none of the meters, including carbon dioxide, read abnormal. However, it has been revealed that in the weeks before their passing, Robert and Diane were having furnace problems, and, as a result, they were using a space heater to keep their home warm.
