Allison Holker Boss Shares First Emotional Message With Her Instagram Followers

UPDATE: On December 10, Allison Holker Boss took to Instagram to share an emotional message. It was the first wedding anniversary she experienced since the passing of her beloved husband Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss.

“We honor love by finding peace and gratitude in the memories of the ones that have transformed our souls forever. On our anniversary I find myself in a space of tranquility embracing so many beautiful moments felt and experienced. With my whole heart I celebrate our love.”

December 13 will be the one-year anniversary of tWitch’s unexpected passing.

One month after Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss claimed his own life, his beloved wife, Allison Holker Boss, is sharing an emotional video message with her fans on Instagram. In the video, Holker thanked fans for giving her and her family hope during this difficult time.

Thousands continued to offer their condolences in the comments section of the post. Notably, fellow dancer Derek Hough wrote, “We love you, Allison,” while Ellen Degeneres added, “His light is still so bright. So is yours.”

As Mamas Uncut previously reported, it was revealed earlier this month that Allison filed court documents asking that her husband’s half of their joint estate be put into her name.

Why Allison Holker Boss Is Being Forced to File for Control of Her Late Husband’s Estate?

According to People, Allison’s decision to submit the court filing was because Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss didn’t have a will at the time of his unexpected passing. After People obtained the court records, they reported that Allison specifically filed a California Spousal Property Petition, which is “standard procedure in situations like this.”

As People further reports that these filings must occur to prove that Allisonis, in fact, tWitch’s wife as it is California law that “a surviving spouse is entitled to their spouse’s half of their joint estate” if the other spouse should pass away.

The filing further includes “any interest in a trade or business name of any unincorporated business or an interest in any unincorporated business that the deceased partner was operating or managing at the time of death.” It’s hard to believe this filing will be contested.

As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Allison and tWitch share three children, 14-year-old Weslie, 6-year-old Maddox, and 3-year-old Zaia.

They were married for 9 years before tWitch’s unexpected passing at the age of 40 on December 13. As Mamas Uncut previously reported, his cause of death has been ruled a suicide after he was discovered in a California hotel bathroom with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

The source revealed that Allison has managed to keep herself together for her children, despite all of the emotions she is dealing with herself. “It has been a very difficult time, but Allison has always been a strong person,” the source told ET of Allison.

“She is trying to keep her composure and not break down in front of her kids through this process for their sake. She is prioritizing their mental well-being, especially her eldest daughter since she has an idea of what’s going on and the younger children don’t fully understand.”

Immediately following the news of his death, Allison shared this statement:

“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us,” Allison began her statement. “Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends, and community above all else, and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.”

“To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt. I am certain there won’t be a day that goes by that we won’t honor his memory. We ask for privacy during this difficult time for myself and especially for our three children. Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you.”
