According to the attorney for Amanda Bynes, the actress is, in fact, not pregnant.
The 34-year-old announced she was expecting her first child with fiancé Paul Michael earlier this year.
“Amanda is not pregnant,” David Esquibias, her lawyer revealed to E! News. “And she is sheltering in a safe location.”
In March, Bynes posted to her social media to announce that she and her fiancé were going to be parents.
“Baby on board!,” she posted to Instagram, next to a black-and-white photo of her ultrasound.
In addition, Paul uploaded the same photo with the caption “Baby in the making.”
The 34-year-old star’s pregnancy was “true” and her parents were in fact aware of the news, according to a source who informed E! News. It was also shared how Amanda was “very, very early,” in her pregnancy when she made the announcement.
Both Amanda and Paul quickly removed their posts after sharing their sonogram.
In addition, Esquibias released a statement to E! News regarding Amanda’s health immediately after the pregnancy announcement.
“Any reports that Amanda is suffering from drug or alcohol addiction issues are completely false. She is seeking treatment for ongoing mental health issues,” his statement read at the time. “We ask for privacy during this time, and for any speculation about her personal life from the public and the media to cease so Amanda can focus on getting better.”
Bynes last Instagram post was a month ago which featured both herself and Paul.
“My love,” she captioned the selfie.
The couple is still engaged but it is unclear if they will legally be married.
“Amanda’s parents are fully aware of her engagement and at this point are not approving Amanda to legally get married under the conservatorship,” according to an insider previously told E! News.
Bynes announced the engagement on Valentine’s Day but decided to call off their engagement in March.
