One member of the Duggar Family is not mincing her words as Josh Duggar’s child pornography trial begins. As Mamas Uncut previously reported, on November 30, the jury was selected for the trial.
As the process endured, Josh Duggar’s cousin Amy Rachelle King took to her Instagram Story. On her story, King opened up about her cousin’s trial and how difficult it will be.
Amy King Does Not Mince Her Words As She Speaks Out Ahead of Josh Duggar’s Trial
“Today is a heavy day. This whole week will be. Next will be too,” Amy wrote. “Until justice is served.”
As it has been reported, Duggar is on trial for allegedly downloading files depicting child sex abuse on his work computer in May of 2019. He was arrested in May of 2021 after more than 200 explicit images were located on his device.
Since his arrest, Duggar has been on house arrest awaiting his trial. He was ordered to stay away from minors with the exception of his own children, who must be accompanied by their mother, Anna.
In a second Instagram story, King continued her statement and she did not mince her words. It is clear how King hopes this trial ends.
“Vengeance is mine safety the lord, I will repay thee,” King wrote, adding, “Please pray for the victims, and for the truth to be revealed.”
But perhaps the most damning part of her statement was the very last part. “Pray that the judge will give the ultimate sentence.”
As Mamas Uncut reported, on November 29, the family friend who attempted to help Josh Duggar when he was a teenager, after he had admitted to molesting four girls, offered her testimony as the judge decided whether or not Josh’s past actions could be used as evidence in this trial. Bobye Holt’s testimony revealed Josh’s abhorrent behavior in detail.
Bobye then choked up when she described what it was like when Josh admitted he had touched four underage girls.
“[Josh] explained that Jane Doe four was sitting on his lap during Bible time and he touched her inappropriately,” she said. “He said it happened that day. On that date, he told us that he touched her vaginal area.”
It wasn’t until later that Bobye would come to understand that Josh touched the victim under her clothing. “When she was sitting on his lap he put his hand under her pantaloons and under her panties,” said Bobye before taking a moment to gather herself.
Anna was present for the trial.
