Amy Schumer‘s 16-month-old recently crashed her latest tv appearance with Ellen DeGeneres this past Tuesday.
Last Tuesday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Schumer attended the in-studio talk show virtually, appearing via a TV monitor with a stand-in prop body below the waist on a chair opposite host Ellen.
DeGeneres, 62, who also met Schumer’s son, Gene, 16-months, asked Schumer: “I haven’t seen you since you’ve had a child. How is that child doing and how old is he now?”
Schumer welcomed Gene on May 5, 2019, with husband Chris Fischer.
“He’s almost 17 months old,” said Schumer, adding when a photo of him comes on-screen:

“He’s pretty cute, right?”
Schumer then discussed the Instagram clip she revealed last week, which showed the sweet moment Gene said “mom.”
Schumer then joked: “Or maybe he said bomb. Either way, I was excited.”

Just recently, Gene also said the word “dad,” which was also captured on video.

He surprises the room when he repeats the word, proceeding to cry after his family makes a big fuss over his most recent accomplishment. Click here to watch the sweet moment!
