Anna Duggar has confirmed the birth of her and Josh Duggar’s 7th child. As Mamas Uncut previously reported, Anna and Josh Duggar revealed they were expecting their seventh child, a baby girl, just days before Josh was arrested.
Currently, Josh is on house arrest as he awaits his trial after he was charged with possessing child pornography which was reportedly found on his work computer. Since his arrest, Duggar has maintained his innocence.
Anna Duggar Announces the Birth of Her and Josh Duggar’s Seven Child
Now, Josh and Anna are parents of seven after Anna made the announcement on Instagram. Though she didn’t offer much information, Anna shared a photo of their daughter wearing a sage-colored onesie and a flowered headband.
The proud mom kept the caption short while also revealing the name they chose for their baby girl. “Meet little Madyson Lily Duggar,” Anna Duggar wrote.
On her Instagram Story, Anna further revealed that Madyson was brought into the world on October 23 at 2:39 a.m. She weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces, and measured 20 inches long.
It remains unclear if Josh was present for the birth of his seventh child.
“So in love with this precious grandbaby,” Jim Bob and Michelle wrote after sharing Anna’s Instagram post on their Instagram Story. This is the first post Anna has made to her Instagram account since her husband’s arrest. She and Josh Duggar have been married for 13 years.
Josh has been ordered to not have contact with any minors other than his own children. And even then his wife must be present during those visits.
While Anna has not spoken out specifically about her husband’s arrest, other sources have claimed she is sticking by her husband’s side, something she has done many times before as this is not the first time Josh has created controversy.
As it has been known, Josh has found himself in several other controversies including having an account on Ashley Madison, a site used by consenting adults looking for extramarital affairs and admitting to having a porn addiction.
Josh has also been reported to have molested several minors, some including his younger sisters when he was also a minor himself. This is information the prosecution hopes to use as evidence against him in his upcoming trial.
According to court documents obtained by KNWA, the prosecution says they may seek to introduce evidence regarding the other acts of sexual molestation reportedly committed by Josh Duggar in the past. The prosecution further revealed that the evidence will likely include testimony that the now 33-year-old father was investigated for and admitted to sexually molesting multiple minor females in 2002 and beyond.
Josh Duggar’s trial is set to begin on November 30.
