How long after your positive pre term labor test did you give birth?

Okay, mom’s I just wanna say I had my first son at 35 weeks and two days now I’m 33 weeks and four days pregnant with my second baby boy I went to the hospital yesterday because I thought my water was leaking which it’s not, but my preterm labor test was positive with contractions all day and night they gave me two shots and three pills to stop them which didn’t work they sent me home today on bed rest with a prescription of the pills to take every six hours. My question is, who has had a positive preterm labor test and how long after that test did you give birth?

Went into preterm at 34+2 tested positive, was also contracting, everything they did didn’t help, they wanted me to get to 36 weeks so went on maternity leave and had another child at home, rest was none existent, I managed to go to 38+4, just try keep yourself as calm and relaxed as possible! Good luck!

I went into preterm labor at 30 weeks. I didn’t even know I was in labor I just happen to be at the doctor doing a stress test. The preterm labor test confirmed preterm labor. I was given a shot and pills to take every so many hours. That was enough to stop the labor and I had a scheduled c section at 39 weeks. He was 9lbs 10oz and is 9 years old now.

I had preterm labor a week ago at 35 weeks and 5 days and they stopped it. I’m 37 weeks now and not showing signs of going into labor soon. But we will see

My test said I wouldn’t go into preterm labor but I did. I went into labor at 35 weeks.

i had gone into preterm labor at 32 weeks and 2 days, they ran that test on me and it came back NEGATIVE, i had my son 4 days later lol. even after they gave me the steroid shots and the medication to stop my contractions lmao

My son was born at 34+1 by the time I got to the hospital I was 4cm already so all I got was a shot for his lungs. But due to him being preemie I had to get progesterone shots weekly with my daughter which didn’t help too much I went into pre-term labor at 33wks but because I was dehydrated so they were able to stop it.

They told me those tests were really only 50/50 at best. I never tested positive and I gave birth within a week for both my babes. (34 and 35 weeks)

I was around 35/36 weeks . I remember my dr saying that if I came in a few hours later he wouldn’t stop it because I came in late at night. Gave me pills and 2 shots to help his lungs. I had to be induced at 38 weeks

4 weeks. It was a rough four weeks, but we made it

Are you talking about the Fetal Fibronectin Test?
Positive at 33 weeks and I’m still pregnant. I’ll be 39 weeks Tomorrow

I didn’t even know there was a test to detect preterm labor

I belive they tell you up to two weeks

My test was positive but they were able to slow my contractions down to once every hour. I must have beat the odds because I didn’t actually have my son for 4 more weeks. I was on strict bed rest and drank a bottle of water an hour to help.

6 weeks after, I just had to do nothing, anytime I got up the contractions started again. So try and rest up as much as you can will hopefully help.

I had a positive pre term labour test at 33 weeks but my waters hadn’t broke. I did have mild contractions. I had two injections too and contractions stopped after a couple of days and I had bed rest for 2 weeks. My son wasn’t then born until week 38 but my labour was very quick

27 weeks with my first… A week in hospital had a couple of shots few stitches in my cervix. Then got sent home went to 39 weeks and 3 days that was 18 years ago x

I was having contractions and my test came back positive at 31 weeks with my second. They gave me a shot to stop it. 39 weeks and 4 days my lo came. (My obgyn told me the next day that those tests are weird. Positives are 50/50 negatives are 100%). Best of luck momma and congratulations!

I had water leakage at 34 weeks but the test was not positive for amniotic fluid. I went into labor 2 days later. He had to be tube fed for 12 days but I was still able to nurse him.
