How much weight gain during pregnancy is normal?

I think it also depends on ur height… I gained 50 pounds with each of my pregnancies… but I’m 5’ 8… if someone is 5’ 3 and gained 50 pounds that would be totally different for their body…

I gained 60 pounds… I was 130 went to 190… then lost it all after I had him 9 pounds 4 oz

They said anywhere from 25-45 pounds. I’ve had six kids it fluctuates depending on pregnancy. Ex. Food stress activity. Muscle weighs more than fat so it may just change your body not your weight. After all woman have babies and don’t even know their pregnant so it depends on the woman. Hugs.

Around 35 pounds is what I’ve read and have been told. I gained 36 pounds with each pregnancy.

Everyones body is different. I was already very overweight so they encouraged me only to gain 20 pounds tops, but then with my second child, I was still VERY over weight but then ended up losing 30 pounds during pregnancy. Do what’s healthy and comfortable for you and baby.

I gained around 32 for my son and 40 for my twins.

A friend of mine gained 40 pounds during her pregnancy and so far I have only gained 12. Each body is different. Doctors normally will talk to you if they are worried about your weight gain. I talk to mine and he says everything is normal for me. Told my friend the same thing.
