How should we do a gender reveal during the pandemic?

I’m a first-time mommy so I definitely wanna celebrate and have a gender reveal however I know with the pandemic a large group gathering is not ideal so I wanted to hear suggestions on what other people have done. I don’t know if a drive by gender reveal would be too silly, but I would definitely love to hear ideas. Thanks in advance!

Make an event on Facebook, invite who ever you want to the page and do a live video when the time comes!:blue_heart::purple_heart:

Drop off cupcakes to everyone’s house and have them open them at the same time?

do it the old fashioned way - wait until after the baby is born.

A friend asked ppl to mail in (most people sent via Amazon) pampers for a boy, wipes for a girl. Then they did the reveal on a zoom call

I did mine in 2017 and just posted the ultrasound at first and then a few hours later revealed the gender

We did a live video of our son biting into a big “oreo” type cookie and the middle was pink for his sister

Why don’t you go live? Send everyone an evite with the date & time you’re going to go on to make sure everyone joins. That’s the safest possible way.

You can bring your envelope in a baby store and pick out a boy outfit and a girl outfit have the cashier ring up and bag the one of what’s in the envelope (only given to them)
Open at home with your partner or do a Facebook live

You can also do a breakable chocolate heart give the envelope to the baker and they’ll fill the heart with the gender and you can break at home with your partner or do a live with family

At the time my town was allowing small gatherings, so I had my parents, sister & her bf, and in-laws over to my house. We got the gender reveal balloons and popped them over Zoom, where the rest of my family was watching from

Just do small one with a couple of the closest people/family. Then live stream it on fb so everyone else can watch :woman_shrugging:

I just had mine today, we had a handful of close family members present and had family and friends join us live on zoom. Worked out pretty well for us.
