I am pregnant and have no family, how can I manage doing it all on my own: Advice?

I was an only child. So I have no family. My parents already passed. I’m 19. Live on my own in an apt. 8 months pregnant now. I will be a single mom. I’m due in November, and I’m terrified. Idk how I’m gonna do it all on my own. How will I work? I know there is daycare, but id just is working to pay for it… What about bills and groceries plus baby needs…? I’m not ready… Adoption isn’t an option! I want my kid I just don’t know how to get out of this predicament.

Look at state assistance. Child care assistance. Get your kid in it and get yourself in school so you can better yours and your child’s future. Use state assistance as a stepping stone not a lifestyle.

Apply for any state assistance you can. I know where I live we have child care assistance where they help pay for daycare, food stamps. They are there for you to use. Best of luck momma.

Look for assistance. WIC programs, daycare vouchers, transportation assistance (if needed) food stamps, whatever you need. There are programs in wic that provide cribs, packnplays, highchairs, bottles, stuff like that. Look into it

I hate to say it Bc if the negative connotations but state assistance pays for daycare and helps with formula, food, even some house bills. I’d go to your local assistance and get set up

Maybe see about finding a job at a daycare so child care would be paid for

Get state help n they can help u get a job n money to take care of baby n urself until u can do it on your own
Good luck to u n baby n congratulations on your baby

Research support programs in your area. In my area there are in home nursing education/support services that help the mother up until the first year of life for the child. Not sure about your belief background but I would also suggest reaching out to a church, as some often have mother/child groups for support and friendships. Yes you should be able to access financial support if needed, but also look for emotional support as well!

State assisted childcare!!!

Get help from the state, local charities, etc. I used to get diapers and clothes from baby pantries for my oldest and it helped a lot. Find other Moms who might be able to give you hand me downs too.

Does your state offer assistance? Get as much help as you can. You should be eligible for food stamps at least. That will be helpful and if you have WIC in your state, definitely apply for that. Go back to school so you can better your future for you and your little one. It will all work out.

It always sounds a lot harder than it is! There are plenty of in home daycares that are cheaper and you can screen to make sure they are good. Start saving money now and take advantage of wic and pantries. You can do it.
