I have been having health issues since I quit smoking: Advice?

I’m a mom of 2, 2 months smoke-free. I am Happily married. but here’s the thing. since I quit smoking, I’ve been having medical issues. (now I have GERD) the latest thing I’ve been dealing with my armpits looking like a rash and smelling like onions. My urine is smelling like an onion. I’ve talked to my doctor, and they don’t know why. I don’t know why. I’m trying my damn hardest to change my diet. I’m drinking flavored water. But I’m trying my hardest. But I have a hard time eating decent because I don’t have the support at home. Hubby is an OTR truck driver. can I get some advice on what to do. TIA

Sounds like you might be detoxing. That’s a good thing, in the big picture.

Sounds like detoxing. Google ways you can help your body through a detox. Eat healthier and fill your body with good vitamins and minerals. Drink lots of water. Something I just looked up says if you were a heavy smoker, it could take up to a year for your body to fully detox all the nicotine out. Just remember it’s a good thing and stay strong!

I have issues with my liver and my armpits stinks so bad, my urine is dark and smells almost like my armpits. The doctors found out my liver produces more bilirubin that my body needs. Last time i got sick i was swollen for a few months until a new doctor took samples of urine and they found out what the problem was. They also did an MRI to make sure everything else was ok, the only thing they found was my liver very inflamed.

You’re detoxing. It will go away after some time. Your body is going to find a way to excrete those toxins by way of sweat and/or through sweat glands found in the armpits and groin area.

I recommend adding chlorophyll to your water to help your body move along with the detoxing process  https://www.amazon.com/World-Organics-Chlorophyll-Supplement-Ounce/dp/B00014D836/ref=sr_1_32?crid=1VK3LK1F27KOQ&dchild=1&keywords=chlorophyll&qid=1614150946&sprefix=chlor%2Caps%2C753&sr=8-32

Drink plain water, a d plenty of it, daily. Put a gallon jug on your kitchen counter, and be sure you drink it all.

Find a sauna and detox

May be pregnant! That’s smell was what I had two weeks before I took the test.

The GERD may be happening if you are eating more. Usually when we stop smoking we replace it with another vice and that usually is food; eating too much will cause heartburn.

Sounds like you could use a good detox.
Lemon water first thing in the morning every other day.
One full 8oz glass on an empty stomach will help kick start your day.
Have a small breakfast, some fruits, some toast, something simple to get you into a routine.

Possibly it isn’t a new smell, it’s just that since quitting smoking you are finally regaining your proper sense of smell?

Like everyone else is saying you’re probably detoxing. Kinda odd that the doctor didn’t know that happens. Did you tell him you quit? Make sure you drink plenty of PLAIN water. I know it’s not the best tasting but it’s better than those flavored waters.

After I quit smoking it took right at 6 months before I finally felt normal. My dr said there is 100s of chemicals in cigarettes and your body gets use to it. So now your going through withdrawal and it will get better. Your body just has to detox and flush all that crap out. Also your lungs are trying to start healing
