Ladies who split bills, how do you guys go about it? We’ve been doing the 50/50 envelope method.
My mom and step dad have a joint checking for house bills both put equal in and checks are written
I pay what I can, and he pays the rest. Unfortunately, it takes a paycheck and a half to cover rent, so he’s always been okay with me paying that and him paying everything else, but we don’t have much bills anyways.
Is everything split or just bills?
He pays the mortgage, car insurance, his car payment, and cellphone. I pay the electric, water, cable, my car payment, my cellphones, and daycare. It all evens out and works out good for use. We have our separate accounts which work for us
Well, I got this WAP
and he has the accounts…
He sends his part of whatever is owed to my acct and I pay the bills with the money. FB pay is a fabulous tool!
He pays the bigger bills and i help with the water, cell phone, household items and our card we charge monthly for our dogs meds and garbage
My husband and I have always deposited our paychecks into a joint account and pay bills from there.
One of us gets paid every friday. We just pay what is due the week we get paid. We pay our own car notes though.
Well he pays the bills I pay for food house items needed anything for the kids
I pay utilities and necessities (phone, internet)as well as insurance. “He” pays the credits (house, car notes credit cards etc) from our main joint (he’s on my acct as well… but being a recently married “older” couple its just easier this way instead of transferring checks to new accts etc
Omg I read balls. If you split balls… I was like … where is this going? What did he do?
We pay 50/50 for all shared bills. Pay our own insurance, car payment and phone bill. I pay for most of groceries but he give some money for them sometimes.
I pay utilities so $200 a month and my own personal bills. He pays everything else.
My partner covers our rent i cover everything else xx
We have a joint account and put the same amount into it each fortnightly which covers all the household bills
My husband makes more in a week than I make in a month so I cover grocery’s and random things the kids need
I make about 3x more than my husband so I pay a majority of the bills.
My husband is the only one that works outside of the home. I stay home and take care of the kids and the house and the yard. We have a joint account and when he gets paid he puts his whole check in and it is what we pay bills, but groceries, and go out with.
