My little girl won’t stop coughing at night … she coughs herself almost sick. Been to the Drs and they’ve said there’s nothing wrong. I can’t just ignore it.
Try the vapor rub on her feet with socks. I know it sounds weird but I did it to my daughter the other night and didnt hear her cough once.
Coughing at night is a sign of asthma
Possibly acid reflux. My daughter does the same
Vick’s on the bottom of her feet, with socks on.
That’s a common sign of childhood asthmz
I would get a second opinion. Post nasal drip, asthma, allergies… could be a lot of things. I love essential oils for diffusing in the air. Doterra has one called breathe that smells like Vick’s. Does wonders for us.
Keep her head elevated slightly, a cool mist humidifier next to her bed, Vicks Vapor rub on her feet with socks, a small teaspoon of honey(depending on age). I’ve been dealing with the same thing for over 4 months and it’s only at night
My son had this forever nighttime cough, he uses an inhaler now and no more cough.
Contact an allergist.
She may need a humidifier in her room. I used to have coughing spells at night too and this helps me a lot.
Allergies or calming down activating asthma. I have caughing asthma my daughter has sinus drainage allergies caught from drainage.
Run a cool mist humidifier 24/7
Try cool mist humidifier
Get another opinion… Ask your doctor for a ears nose and throat specialist.
My son has severe asthma, we have to have allergy covers on his mattress and pillow plus have a fan running to push air for him. If the fan isn’t on he struggles for air because gas heat makes the house dry. You can also put a cool mist humidifier in the bedroom. Also try elevating the head of the bed just a little. It could also be reflux if they’re laying flat
Get a humidifier!! Game changer
get a humidifier for your home the air is to dry
Get a second opinion!!! You know your daughter best. My doctor missed something crucial with my daughter and kept saying it was nothing. Had I not gotten a second opinion we would be in a very bad spot right now. Trust your gut not the doctor.
Could be undiagnosed asthma. Ask your pediatrician for a referral to an allergist/asthma dr
